Dust Off & Step Back into Life

Their Stories
Elsa, in her seventies, told me that the best advise she had ever received was from her daughter who said: “ Mom, you just have to dust off and get back up.”
It is not that they had had fewer disappointments than others, but that they refused to allow the setbacks to defeat them.
Perhaps what often determines our happiness in life is the step we take after a setback. There will always be setbacks, and these set back often require us to risk again.
To love after we have been lost or hurt. To try even we have failed after we have failed and rejected.
Dust off and step back into life.
