JW Energy Juicing : Mustard Greens Juice



Mustard Greens Juice is a healthy and delicious Green Juice.

A lot of times my friends crossed their eyebrows when they heard the name of ‘Mustard Green’ as they may associate that with the pungent taste, but almost all are putting their thumb up when their drink my home-made fresh Mustard Greens Juice.

Greens are very nutritious foods. However Greens are generally speaking harder to digest due to cellulose walls. When you juice the Mustard greens, try not to separate the juice from the extracts as that bypass the extracts which are so rich in Fibre, and it helps constipation problem and improve digestion.

The pungent taste in Mustard Greens Juice can easily be overcome by adding lemon to the juice.

Mustard Greens Juice - a Green Juice for Health
Ingredients

1. Mustard Green Leaves with stalk, 60g

2. Lemon, 1/2 a lemon with skin

3. Nutrilite Green Tea Protein Power, 2 scoops

4. Nutrition Supplement Pack A

5. Honey, 3-4 Tsp, to taste

6. Ice Tube, 10 cubes

Energy Juicing Steps for Mustard Greens Juice :
Serving 2 to 4 persons
1. Put Nutrients into the Juicer: Daily = 2; B Complex = 2; Bio C = 2; Lecithin E = 2; Cal Mgm = 2

2. Prepare Mustard Greens, Wash, Rinse Then add Musturd Greens to the Juicer

3. Add water, cover upto about 30% of Juicer

4. On the Juicer, blend well

5. Add Honey, 3 to 4 Tsp

6. Then add Ice Cubes, about 8-15 pieces

7. Add protein powder, Green Tea flavor, 2 scoops

8. Mustard Greens Juice is ready to serve

JW Chinese New Year Recipe : Pickled Radish and Ginger with Century Egg


Pickled Radish and Ginger with Century Egg is a favorite Chinese New Year (CNY) Recipe serve on New Year Eve.
My mum said she was taught by her mum, and now I am learning from her. It is an apertizer as well as can be served as one of the main course. It can be served as Vegetarian dish by not serving with Century Egg.
It consists of 5 ingredients : Carrot, Radish, Ginger, Red Chilli and Green Chilli.
and Century Eggs

skin Carrot, Raddish and Ginger
Cut into thin slices

 Cut both red and Green Chillis into halves,
Remove seeds
Cut to shred

Pour half a bowl of salt into the mixing tray which
contain slices of Carrot, Radish and Ginger
Rub salt with slices till slices soften in texture
Rinse off with running water

Add Sugar and Vinegar to the Vegetable, stir well, add Chillis, soak for about 30 minutes,
ready to serve

This dish can be keep for a week if store at the fridge
